When a violent skeptic meets Jesus Christ
Before he was Saint Paul, author of most of the New Testament, Saul of Tarsus was an ardent persecutor of Christians.
He not only mocked their religion but even helped murder many of them.
But then, making his way to Damascus to track down and kidnap more Christians, he encountered the risen Christ.
The experience was life-changing, to say the least.
Paul shifted his focus, becoming an equally ardent follower of Jesus Christ, and brought the good news of his Resurrection to countless people around the world.

Reflection Questions:
- How did meeting Jesus Christ change the trajectory of Saul’s life?
- How did Paul claim we are saved?
- What is your opinion of St. Paul’s statement regarding the importance of the Resurrection: “If Christ has not been raised, then empty is our preaching; empty, too, your faith. If Christ has not been raised, your faith is futile; you are still in your sins.” (1 Cor 15:14,17)
